March 24 & 25

March 25:  Sorry this is a bit late... it was my birthday today so I was quite busy!  Any way, today was sunny and about 31 degrees with hardly a cloud in the sky (just some cirrus)!  There a breeze out of the E at about 7mph right now and it was much the same all day today.  All of this is due to a high pressure system sitting right over us.  I think tomorrow will be just about the same as today as that high pressure sticks around.

March 24:  My prediction from yesterday was not quite right.  It was about the same temperature as the day before (32 degrees).  It was sunny, which was a nice change up from cloudy and snowy!

March 23

My prediction from yesterday was right!  There was a good amount of snow that fell last night and today (about 5 inches).  Just when things were starting to warm up and melt, it dumped some more snow on us!  Any way, it got up to about 30 degrees with some strong winds from the NE (right now they are about 10mph).  I think tomorrow will be clear out, colder, and no precipitation (all due to a high pressure system to our north).

March 22

My prediction from yesterday was partially right.  It is definitely colder today (35 degrees)!  A high pressure system didn't dip down though.  Low pressure systems are pushing up from the south, bringing lots of moisture with them.  The low pressure systems are both bringing cold air from the north and moisture from the south.  This had led to rain off and on all day as well as high overcast skies.  There has also been high winds from the E today at 22-29mph!!  As time progresses, it should snow later tonight and tomorrow!  (And we all thought spring was here!)

March 21

My prediction from yesterday was partially right.  It was the same temperature (51 degrees) as yesterday (not cooler), but it was sunnier!  It's cloudy now, but it was sunnier earlier and the clouds are definitely lighter than yesterday.  The wind was from the E today around 8mph, which means stable weather (from the high pressure system to the north).  I think tomorrow will be colder as the high pressure system dips south and brings colder air with it.  i think it will still be cloudy though as pressure systems collide.

March 20

My prediction from yesterday was not quite right.  There was definitely some precipitation in the form of rain today, but it was about the same temperature, (51 degrees).  This warmth was due to the overcast skies that dominated the weather all day.  And also due to the low clouds (plus almost no wind), there was a spectacular amount of evaporation fog as the snow melted from the rain and warm temperature.  I think tomorrow will be cooler and sunnier as the low pressure system passes.
