February 4

Today was cloudy, but warmer (around 30 degrees) as the clouds kept in more heat.  The warmth is attributed to the high pressure system moving away and a warm front pushing in along with winds switching from the West to the Southwest.  This warmth will last through the weekend and the clouds will linger.

February 3

Today it was clear and bright out, just as yesterday was.  The wind was out of the West today and the wind chill was biting (actual high temp: 24 degrees).  The high pressure system over us will be moving away and warmer temperatures will be settling in for the weekend, starting tomorrow.  Also, the clouds will increase.  With both the temperatures and the clouds increasing, we may have a chance at some light snow.

February 2

Today the sky was clear with a cold, brisk wind coming from the Northwest making the wind chill much less than the actual temperature (which was 13 degrees).  This coldness is coming down from Canada and will last for a couple more days.  So expect tomorrow to be sunny and brisk just like today, but warming and clouding up come the weekend.

January 31 & February 1

February 1:  It's cloudy again, but the clouds are thinner so it's rather bright out.  There's some wind from the North making it feel about 15 degrees colder than it actually is (it's 17 degrees right now).  Things seem calm (minus the wind) for now, but it will get colder once the sun goes down.  However, if the clouds thicken up, it will keep some heat in and not be as cold as a clear night would be.

January 31:  Cloudy and snowing all day (strength of snow fall varied throughout the day).  There was a strong wind that blew around the light snow and kept everyone chilled.  It got up to about 18 degrees, but felt a lot colder because of the wind chill.
