February 10 & 11

February 11:  The weather was cloudier, but warmer.  The winds were coming from the SW, bringing moisture as some precipitation in the form of light snow.  Temperatures should continue to warm as the wind comes from the S.

February 10:  The weather was a little warmer, 12 degrees, but the low temperature was still brutal at -22 degrees.  Winds were lighter out of the WSW.  It was sunny with no precipitation.

February 9

Today was cold again, only getting up to about 6 degrees with wind coming from the west making wind chills well into the negatives.  The wind is switching from the Northwest to Southwest as the high pressure system that was causing our clear skies and cold temperatures pushes southward.  Tomorrow should be warmer due to this.

 

February 8

Today it's clear and sunny out and consequently, it's cooold!  The wind is coming from the West and the actual temperature of -6 degrees feels like -25 degrees!!  It should warm up above 0 degrees in actual temperature, but will stay in the negative for the wind chill.  This all, of course, is due to another high pressure system to our Northwest.  Tomorrow should be a little warmer than today and will continually get warmer by the weekend.

February 7

Today's temperature is colder, it's about 14 degrees out with a brisk Northwest wind making it feel like it's only 1 degree.  The temperature has been dropping and will continue to drop.  There was a brief snow flurry earlier, but it left a minimal amount behind.  Now it's just plain cloudy and breezy, a typical cold winter day!

February 6

Today was Superbowl Sunday!  Go Pack Go!  Anyway, the weather today was warmer than yesterday, getting up to about 32 degrees!  However, there was actually a light breeze today coming out of the North/Northwest.  It was light enough to not make a horrible wind chill.  Also, there was some cloud cover, but it was light enough to give us plenty of sun!  This week, the low pressure system will move away and some more cold temperatures will be settling in for a few days.

February 5

Today's weather was warmer, 28 degrees as a high and the low is still in the double digits!  Also, the wind was calm, pretty much non-existent!  This made the day feel even warmer as everyone was used to wind chill!  There were some higher clouds, which also kept things warm.  This is all due to a low pressure system to the South.  Again, there was no precipitation.
